Cats and dogs: restricted. Import license must be obtained prior to arrival from the Ministry of Agriculture, Arnarhvolur, Reykjavik. Pets are subject to quarantine for further information contact the Ministry of Agriculture.

You must also fill-in a certificate of health and origin for import of a dog or cat to Iceland which also includes vaccination and other treatment requirements.
